What is the shelf life of the product?
We recommend that you consume the products within eighteen months, the products won't necessarily spoil beyond that, but the quality diminishes some.

How do you read the expiration date?

Numbers one and two are the month (01-12); numbers three, four and five are the day of the year (001-365); number six is the batch number; and number seven is the year.  01 031 1 4 = January 31, 2014, 1st batch.

What kind of salt do you use?
We use plain table salt; not iodized.

Where are the products made?
We make everything in our own production facility in Tempe, Arizona.

Are you inspected by the health department?
Yes, the department of environmental health drops in unannounced four times a year and the FDA once or twice a year.

Are your products gluten free?

Once you open the jar how long will it last in the refrigerator?
It could last for months if you don't contaminate it. Always spoon out the product or pour it out. Never put salsa back in a jar once it's been in a bowl.

Are you environmentally friendly
We go to great extremes to recycle every single can, plastic bottle, glass container, and piece of card board. We recycle the equivalent of five full pick up trucks each week.

All AJ's Fine Foods, Whole Foods and Fry's super markets sell these three items: medium salsa, habanero salsa and habanero hot sauce. Please contact us for a complete list for a store near you.

Are you a family run business?
We like to think of it that way; however, due to our growth we have added several fine additions that we call our family.
